Since 2001, the Advertising club of India has been organizing India's most coveted showcase for effective marketing and creative strategies, The EFFIE Awards. Known to be the gold standard in measuring marketing and communication effectiveness, the bandwidth of EFFIE is reflected in both the quality and the number of entries, which the awards have been attracting every year - a startling increase from 53 in 2001 to a whooping 300 in 2011!
In 2012, the bar was set to a new high with a record number of 357 entries from 50 participating agencies, for the campaigns that ran in India from 1st July 2011 to 30th June 2012 (12 Months).
Amongst host of entries and gruelling five rounds of judging process, done by a jury of 124 luminaries of creative and marketing industry, Voltas bagged a Gold EFFIE for the "All Weather AC" campaign. The award comes at the juncture of the breakthrough concept of "All Weather AC" and the Numero Uno position held by the brand throughout the year.
